As a result of futronic's unbroken growth, the company moves to larger premises at Tolnauer Strasse 3-4 in Tettnang's Bürgermoos Industrial Park.

futronic GmbH is sold by Saint Gobain AG, the parent company, to Jetter AG in Ludwigsburg, not far from Stuttgart.

General Manager Bernt Küstner goes into retirement and is succeeded by Michael Preuss and Wolfgang Lachmann.

futronic becomes a subsidiary of Oberland Glas AG in Bad Wurzach, with Bernt Küstner as General Manager.

The company moves from Karlstrasse to new premises in Tettnang's "Schaeferhof" district.
1978
futronic wins an order from Oberland Glas in Bad Wurzach to develop a glass machine control. The first such control, christened MP-ST, enters into service only 3 months later. This product paved the way for a successful partnership spanning many other projects and formed the backbone of futronic's steady growth.
