In the course of your training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering you’ll gain an insight into our various technical departments: Mechanical Components, Wiring, Testing & Service and Automation Development. You’ll be directly involved in our production processes from the outset. The aim is for you to put the theory you’ve learned at vocational training college to practical use straight away and to get to know our processes and procedures.
Your trainer will teach you how to read and understand circuit diagrams, for instance, and familiarise you with the inner workings of a control cabinet. You’ll learn how to measure and calculate electrical quantities and correctly assemble cables, adapters of all kinds, system components like the control panel and much more besides. You’ll spend your time programming, configuring and testing – systems and safety devices, for example – as well as carrying out repairs. By the time you’ve finished, you’ll be able to wire a complete control cabinet flawlessly. In short, “Caution: Electricity” will be your daily motto in your chosen career.
After completing your training, you’ll have an opportunity to deepen your knowledge through various courses, which allow you to specialise in a particular area or possibly qualify as a fore(wo)man or state-certified engineer.
