futronic honours long-term employees

Working together for many years: the jubilarians, next to Personnel Manager Cynthia Habetz and Managing Director Wolfgang Lachmann: Sylvia Sterk, Kirsten Salow, Bernd Lutter, Heiko Pfisterer and Heinrich Funk (from left).

It is a pleasant task for a managing director to honour long-term employees and consequently last week Wolfgang Lachmann took the opportunity to say thank you to some long-term futronic employees. At this event he provided a little second breakfast for celebrating their jubilee together with the entire futronic staff in the futronic cafeteria.

Have been working with futronic for 10 years: Bernd Lutter, logistic specialist, Heiko Pfisterer, team leader in the quality management and Marc Meersschaut, sales engineer for container glass industry (he actually could not attend due to a business trip to Kenia). Pfisterer already absolved his apprenticeship as Electronic Technician for Systems and Equipment at futronic and graduated with honours – a true ‘home-grown’, Lachmann tells with some pride.

Can look back on a quarter of a century at futronic: Heinrich Funk, in the construction department, Sylvia Sterk, specialist in order processing and exports and Kirsten Salow, specialist for documents management. Like Heiko Pfisterer also Heinrich Funk and Sylvia Sterk stayed with futronic after their training. Even though, at first only a temporary contract rather than a long-term prospective could be offered to the young woman due to the poor economic situation at that time, Lachmann remembers, „today we are glad that it turned out differently, he adds with smile.

It cannot be taken for granted in these turbulent times, that employees stay with a company for so many years, even decades.” Lachmann resumes. „This shows that some things are matching and indicates a high level of stability, continuity, loyalty and mutual esteem, and” he adds with a twinkle in his eye, „it shows that the management is on the right track in the relationship with the staff.”
